Big Catfish
While white bass fishing on Lake Houston, I began watching the fella on the boat about 50 yards from where I was fishing. I noticed he appeared to have a nice fish on his line. His boat drifted further from me then closer to me being pulled around as if he had a whale on the end of his rod. After watching this for about 20 minutes I noticed him lean over grab his catch never removing it from the water but putting it on a stringer and tied the stringer to the side of his boat. We started up a conversation from afar and after a bit he decided to troll over closer to let me in on his catch. The fish he pulled up was a massive blue catfish. The largest I had ever seen that was not on video or photos. See photo below. Caught on a minnow while fishing for crappie.
